Thanks to everyone who has shown their support for this film!!! I made this film to move people and I think we've done just that.

I hope this evening's screening goes just as well.

Sandwich Website

The website for Sandwich is almost up and running. Anne Gerber is doing a great job designing it! I will keep you posted.

Thursday Night!

This Thursday is the next screening of Sandwich. Please tell your friends and their friends! 7pm at the Alamo Drafthouse Cinemas.

Potential Screening in Monterrey, Mexico

Rodolfo and Myriam Fernandez took a copy of Sandwich to their hometown of Monterrey this past weekend and showed it to the board of directors of the Alzheimer's Association. They were very excited about having a screening, with potential screenings in other cities as well!

Sandwich Screening at the Alamo Drafthouse Cinemas again!! Thurs. Nov. 30th!

We did so well with the shows last week that the owner of the Drafthouse asked us to come back and have another screening! We decided on Thurs, Nov. 30th (my father's birthday) and I expect that we will either sell out again, or at least get close to it. We may also have another show on the following Thurs, Dec. 7th.

This is great!

More news...

We are in the process of trying to arrange screenings in the following cities:

Minneapolis, MN.
Austin, TX.
Lincoln, NE.
Dallas, TX.
Philadelphia, PA.
Toledo, OH.
Monterrey, Mexico.

This last one will give us an international screening! Rodolfo and his lovely wife Myriam have talked with the director of the Alzheimer's Association in Monterrey and he is very excited about this! Rodolfo is already working on subtitles for the film.

We will network through the Alzheimer's Association in each of the other cities as well, and also garner support via friends and family to hopefully pack the screenings.

This might be the little film that could. Who knows?

Shows at the Alamo Drafthouse Cinemas

Our shows sold out! Amazing! The response to the film surpassed my expectations, and the personal, emotional responses to the film moved me. I wanted people to be moved by this film and maybe identify with being stuck between hard choices, and I know we accomplished that goal.

My own parents who don't always understand what I'm doing finally got it.

I thank everyone who came out and everyone else who continues to support this film we've made!

GOD Bless you all!

It's almost time!

Sunday is almost here! We are working frantically to get the film ready.

Note to any would-be-filmmakers out there: Make sure you give yourself extra time to COMPLETELY finish your film BEFORE you lock in a date for a screening at a venue.

I booked ours a month out, but failed to build in some time to allow for real life and anything else that could occur to occur.

Oh well. Lesson learned

I know tomorrow will be wonderful!

Three Days to Go!!!!!

Rodolfo and I are working on the final mix. He is an extremely gifted musician and creative artist. I love working with a person this professional, focused, loyal, and passionate about what he does!

I truly feel that audiences will be suprised by our film. I know I am suprised by the final results.

Sunday is right around the corner... See everyone at the screening!

Shooting "The Talk" scene with Anne Gerber as Molly and Laurie Lucas as Grace

One week to go...

People are asking me if I'm nervous...I just want people to be moved by this film. If I can move just one person then I feel like I've accomplished what I set out to do. In that sense, I am nervous. But, I'm also ready. I've been ready for quite some time.

Todd Stricker, my most excellent photographer, delivered three posters to me tonight. They are fantastic! He framed one and I took it the Alamo Drafthouse so they can hang it up.

The Drafthouse is also playing a clip of Sandwich before all the movies and in the lobby. If anyone goes to the movies there before the screening you will see it. I think the clip is about 25 or 30 seconds long. It looks good though.

One more week...
